This is one my son’s favorite Wii games.

Sorry-not-sorry for that pun. It was rancid but irresistible.
Splatoon is a good game, though, and my son does enjoy playing it (especially the multi player challenges, he loves seeing the ink fly). I enjoy the art and character design when I watch him play, so I wanted to see if I could capture the Inklings in ham and cucumbers with tomatoes and cheese and nori details.
I think they turned out pretty well. I’m especially proud of the little cucumber squid. He’s so cute and angry.
More cucumbers slices, apples, fried ham, and oven fries rounded out the rest of our lunch that day. My daughter also required plenty of ketchup for inking dipping.
